What's The White Stuff? Let's start with sugar. Get rid of it. Get it out of the house and out of your diet.
Food manufacturers put sugar in almost everything. Read package labels. You'll find sugar in these foods and many more:

- soups, salad dressings, sauces

Starch
To lose weight fast, you've got to ditch The White Stuff. Let's look at starch.
Starchy foods include those made with flour or starchy vegetables.
This list of starchy foods will give you the idea:
- bakery goods including bread, pastries, pies, cakes, crackers, muffins, rice cakes, bagels, tortilla shells
- starchy vegetables including potatoes, French fries, rice, taro (poi)
- snack foods including potato chips, pretzels, corn chips

Sugar and starch are High Carbohydrate foods. They contain empty calories -- their nutritional value is low. They raise blood sugar levels too fast and too high. High Carbohydrate foods are addictive. Once we start eating them, we find it hard to stop.
So get starchy foods out of your diet now. You'll find it much easier to lose weight.
Salt
Beware The White Stuff -- cut back on salt!
Processed food is loaded with salt. Salt is hidden in most manufactured food products. You'll be shocked at how much salt you are unknowingly consuming.
Excess salt is so dangerous to your health. It is linked to heart disease, stroke and so much more.
Read the labels on prepared foods and check out the hidden salt in these products:
- bakery goods including bread, pastries, pies, cakes, crackers, muffins, rice cakes, bagels, tortilla shells
- candy, chocolate bars
- starchy vegetables including potatoes, French fries, rice

Fats
When we talk about The White Stuff, a huge component is fats.
We do need some healthy fats in our diet. These are the fats that are naturally present in healthy foods. We should be getting the fats we need from healthy whole foods, such as:
- fresh raw whole unsalted nuts and seeds
- free-range eggs
- omega-3 eggs
- free-range grassfed meats and poultry
- wild fish and seafood
- cold water fish (e.g., salmon)
- olive oil
The fats in processed food are the wrong fats and they're killing us -- they're making us fat and sick and clogging up our arteries. Read package labels and check out the hidden excess fats in these foods:
